Help! Escaping cot!

Last night my 20month old started crying in the night and got in a temper, I went in her room and she was pulling herself over the cot bars, when I stopped her doing this he started to climb the bars in order to get out, after repeatedly putting her leg back in she eventually went back to sleep, I'm too scared to leave her on her own at night now in case she hurts herself hurling herself out of her cot!

My son did this at 15 months!

He went into a bed! Yes, he could get out.

But he didn't fall from a great height again - head first onto a marble floor in the middle of a tropical storm and power cut as he did that night Shock

You can get extendable toddler beds if your prefer this.

Oh no! Marble is definitely an ouch moment! I have got a toddler bed and I also could take bars off her cot bed so don't know what's best, tried transitioning her few months ago but she wouldn't stay in bed would either play in her room or cry at the gate to her room for 3 hours !! 😩
