What are we doing wrong ??

(Sorry this is long) About a week ago, my 12 month old had his 12 month injections and since then has been an absolute nightmare to put down to sleep! We have always had a bedtime routine but because of work and other things, daytime naps have never really stuck. He will only nap in the car, pram or on me (which isn't ideal as I'm due another LO in 8 weeks!) but sleeps amazingly at night in his cot. He used to sleep 6pm-6am with maybe one or two wake ups where he just needed his dummy put back in.

Routine goes a little like this... please any suggestions on if I'm doing something wrong or what I should be doing differently (but it has always worked which is what's frustrating me)

5-5:30pm. tea and bath
6pm. relax on the couch, mostly watch evening CBeebies and when he's ready, usually anywhere between
6-6:30pm bottle in his room with musical bear playing and sleep straight away.

Now we're doing the same, but will not go to sleep, he can be exhausted and as soon as I've put him in, he's on his feet! He won't stay lying down and I just don't know what to do.

Did anyone else have this after injections or is it nothing to do with that do I need to change something in his day/evening routine ???

It's probably more to do with separation anxiety developing due to his age and him sensing something is up regarding imminent new sibling!

@RandomMess he has this with OH, but has never had it with me! 😩 if it's like this now I dread to think what it's going to be like when LO is here 💆🏻‍♀️

I did controlled crying (short intervals) starting a week ago with my 9mo twins and it worked for one within 20 minutes (yes really! And he had been so difficult) and for the other within two days. I wish I'd done it sooner.
