Baby sleep problems

Our 8 month old was a good sleeper, but recent disruption has caused some issues. One I'm struggling with is that he is now waking up too early. This throws out the whole day and I'm not sure what the best way is to handle that. If I just make everything 2 hours earlier he'd go to bed way too early. If I keep him up till usual bedtime I need to put in extra naps or he'd be overtired (had one night of that and don't want a repeat). But extra naps throw out feeding times and everything seems to spiral. somehow feeds end up getting too close to meals etc. There must be guidance on the best way to deal with an early wake up but I can't find any. I'm initially trying to cope with today ( on very little sleep). Step two will be how to try and get him back to sleeping till 6 or 6.30am. Thanks for any suggestions

I wish I had the answer - DD (7 months) was up at 5.15 this morning and was moody until she went back to sleep at 6.15. There's just no getting her back to sleep after 5 and it's so frustrating as she obviously needs to sleep later because she's so unhappy.

Doesn't help that she only has 2x40 minutes naps during the day and she'd been up 4 times in the night before that!
