Feeding and sleep routine of your 4/5 month old

It would be great to hear your routines, feed times etc. DS2 was sleeping well - last bottle at 9/9.30 sleeping until 3.30/4 for another bottle then up around 6.30.
Now he wants to sleep at 7 which is fine but he will not take any more milk if we wake him later or if we try and dream feed him - he will just scream until you get him back to sleep. He also won’t go three hours between feeds anymore during the day so by losing 15-30minutes each time throughout the day his 7pm feed ends up around 5.30 and then he won’t take another feed before bed at 7 as it’s too close and he’s so tired. This now means that he will wake around midnight for a feed and then again at 3/4 - I know this is actually quite good however DS1 still doesn’t sleep through so I’m up quite a bit in the night, plus I feel like we’ve gone backwards a bit.

It would be great to hear your routines for day and night, all I keep being told is he should be going 4 hourly in the day and should be able to go 10-11 hours without a feed at night... that’s all very well but when I can’t even get him 3 hourly during the day I’m fighting a losing battle!

At 4/5 month old I'm sure my sons night went something like bottle and bed at 7, then up again at 9, then 10.30, 11, 12.15, 12.45, 2, 2.20, 2.45, 3.10, 5, 5.45, 6.30 🙄😂 the sleep regression is horrible and nearly broke me as a human being.

My 5 month old wants to start his night time sleep around 7.30. First bit is in the lounge with us, then when he wakes up (around 9.30) I go to bed with him. In the day he’ll range anywhere from 90 mins to 3.5 hours between feeds but at night wakes every 2 hours. I’m not sure who these babies are that go 10 hours overnight and 4 hours in the day but I’ve never met one!

DD2 is EBF, so different. She moved her bedtime forward too, around 7 at the latest. She has one feed then. She might got 2-2.5 hours before waking up for another feed.
Before the regression she could do a 6 hour stretch. I thought we were through it last week when she did some 3-4 hour stretches. Appears I was wrong. Last night was every hour or two. We’ve been trying to settle her to sleep for almost 2 hours now. I guess she’s not finished her regression...
She’ll go 2-3 hours between feeds in the day.

@Tilliebean I’m concerned that we’ve finished the regression and that every 2 hours is just his new permanent sleep pattern! He’s been following that for at least 3 weeks Hmm

Yeah... I’m feeling the same. Up every 2 hours again last night. I tried to not feed her and just settle at one wake up. Didn’t work!

Wow sounds like it could be the 4m sleep regression then - don’t get me wrong I know he’s actually still a good sleeper in the grand scheme of things. It’s just difficult when you’ve got a nearly 2 year old who hit the 4 month sleep regression and decided he didn’t need to sleep from then on... nearly two years later and I’m still wondering when he will actually sleep Confused
