Im at my wits end. My 6 month old goes to bed at 6.30-7 then has a dream feed then wakes up anywhere between 3 and 5 and chats.. tonight i have just got him straight up to give him food as quite often he ends up crying for food. He needs his own room as if i ignore him he will see sometimes self settle but im just awake waiting! My friends say at least hes not crying bit if he cryed fed went to sleep it would be ok! I put a post up earlier but he is going to share with his 3 year old sister so thats the only room to put him in. When shes not here we put him in her room and he sleeps a bit longer. I dunno whether to drop dream feed or if he will wake up more. I no ppl have it worse bur im so tired looking after both kids and missing out on sleep coz im just awake listening then find ot hard to sleep as brain switches on. Any ideas?we are thinking of just putting him in with his sister x

I have had almost exactly the same routine for four and a half years now so really really really feel your pain!

I have tried, downloaded and purchased every method, app, gizmo, projectors, all sorts , you name it and all failed to help. It is a nightmare, I really hope somebody follows me with something that does work for you....

Have started solids? Apparently lots of avocado and banana can fill them up in the day so they take less milk during the day and then wake up at night.

Also 6.30 is quite early for bed, perhaps try pushing it a bit later and see if that helps.

Have you tried a dummy?

I've read on here that waking early can mean they've had too much day time sleep. I think it's 2.5 to hrs during the day and 11 to 12 at night, if that helps!

630 is ok to wake up its just the random chatting at night!
