How can I get my 9 month old to sleep in her cot?

My 9 month old goes to sleep in her cot for naps and at night quite easily, she is fed to drowsy then patted for a few seconds until she is asleep. The problem with nights is she always wakes 3 hours later and seems to be hungry and it is then impossible to get her back in her cot, she will only sleep on me. If I try to move her she wakes up and cries non stop until I pick her back up again.
I just don’t know what to do with her, she gets herself in such a state in a short amount of time so I don’t think I can leave her to cry. She won’t take a bottle so I wouldn’t want to leave her to cry anyway because I can never be sure that she isn’t hungry as I don’t know how much milk she is taking from me.
She won’t take a dummy.
Can anyone help?! Thanks

Music? My 7mnth old loves music... theres a playlist on spotify called music box lullabies... or you could get one of those sleep toy things where it plays music that eventually fades out.
When I want my daughter to settle to sleep in her cot I play the spotify playlist on my iPad and she drifts back off to sleep every time.

Thanks, I’ll try that. We have an Ollie owl and that doesn’t help but maybe the music would be better
