3 month old refusing to sleep on left side

My 3 month old will only sleep on the right side of his head, iv gone in 3 times tonight alone to try and turn his head and he keeps turing it back. Hes able to turn it and he stays sometimes for 10 minutes max but then turns it back to the right side. Im getting really stressed out about it as he has a minor flat spot on the back of the right side of his head, its getting better because im holding him a lot and trying to keep him off his head compleatly during the day but its hard because it means im having him nap in my arms every day and i cant get things done. Im getting really frustrated now (not with him just with the situation in general) so any advice would be really appreciated, thanks!

Hello, my 2 month old was exactly the same. I took him to a chiropractor and they sorted him out really quickly, it was just muscle tightness causing one side to be more comfortable than the other for him.
Encouraging your baby to regularly look the other way using toys etc during the day to strengthen the other side also really helped x

My baby had the same. We had a very traumatic delivery and he had been stuck for a while and when born would never face one way. We took him to a cranial osteopath, he too had muscle tightness all down the side of his neck where he had been stuck and after just one treatment the difference was amazing! I too used to prop him on one said with toys to look at to help aswell as his head was very flat on one side! Hope this helps!

My baby was same, she had a tight neck muscle and massively favoured one side. I did some exercises with her like getting her attention on the bad side etc but anyhow around 3 months it started to loosen up. She had an awful flat spot to the point helmets were mentioned but we didn't go that route and at 8 months her head is perfectly round. I'd say just relax about it unless a doctor has told you it's a problem. Most babies favour one side I think to begin with

Thanks for the replys, its nice to know its not just him, i feel so conscious of it im afraid people are going to think i just leave him lying down all the time even though my mother in law has assured me that its not even that noticible. Just praying it rounds out and hes not stuck with a flat spot id be heartbroken for him if he was
