Cot bumpers - what's your opinions please?

Hi guys, what's everyone's opinion on cot bumpers, are they dangerous or is it possible to buy ones that are safe? Thanks!

No. My mother in law called me a neurotic pregnant woman for saying I didn't want them...
But I am surprised at some of the shops who sell them.

They may look pretty but ... not worth the risk

I think even the breathable ones have risks as babies can get their heads trapped.

Sleeping bags can help stop legs getting stuck in the sides. Mine used to bash themselves around but it never seemed to bother them.
