Spinning and waking himself up

Oh god, please help me. Baby (5 months) has been able to roll - both back to front and front to back - for a couple of weeks now and loves doing it. Problem is that he does is endlessly in his sleep now and is waking himself up. It's not that he gets stuck - he can literally do a full 360 spin. It's that he is actually waking himself up and then we have to go in and settle him. I think he wants to sleep on his tummy but hasn't mastered it yet.

I am so bloody exhausted with it. We have to take turns in repositioning him. He was a good sleeper before this. How long will this last? What can I do? Has anyone else been through this and come out the other side?

You say go in and settle him....if the cot is not in your room move it there and put it right up against the side of your bed so you can do all the settling without having to get up. I don't think there's much you can do to stop him waking, but you can make it easier on yourself when he does.
