Hi,
So im new to being a mum and to mumsnet.
In need of some help... My LB is 15 weeks old and i have always just held him during the day when he has a nap as i love the cuddles. However, im due to go back to work part time in 5 weeks and the childminder obviously wont be able to hold him like i do.
Ive tried this week with putting him down in his cot when hes gone to sleep but he wakes up and cries for me pretty much straight away every time. I know hes just fussing as there are no tears but i hate him getting upset.
Please can anyone help?
Thanks!
Hannah

It's really normal. Have a quick Google of the sleep regression at 4 months. You may find he is completely different with someone else. It's weird they know mums and round and that's where they want to be yet when mum is not around they don't bother waking up.
