Is my 11 month old transitioning to one nap?

Anyone else in the same boat?
From 8 months he was having 1.5/2 hours in a morning and around 45 mins to an hour in the afternoon, bed asleep by 7.30.
As soon as he hit 11 months he’s been resisting his afternoon nap, resisting going to bed, and waking up earlier in the morning (I’m talking 4/5am). On the days he does eventually fall asleep for his second nap, he’ll go to bed later and still wake up earlier.
On the days he refuses his afternoon nap he goes from 11/11.30am right through until bed time without sleep. However,..he sleeps better at night (usually 7pm until at least 6am, sometimes 7am)
He does still seem tired in a morning after about 3 hours awake and he’ll consistently have at least 1.5/2 hours. What do you think I should do? Just hope it’s a regression and keep trying to put him down in the afternoon? Wake him up from his morning nap early? Or just give up and put him down after lunch and hope he sleeps at least 2 hours with a bedtime of 6.30/7?

The average age to drop to one nap is normally 15-18months but every baby is different. Definitely sounds like your little one is showing signs to drop to one. We moved to one nap literally overnight on his first birthday. The nap used to start at 10.30 and then just got later and later as he got older. Things were much easier when we moved to one nap
