Break the cycle

Hello.

My 14month old has started waking up at the same time (pretty much down to the minute) every night.

She has a good routine, bath at 6.30pm in bed by 7 with a cup of warm milk.

She goes to sleep on her own in the cot with me sitting nearby but over the past couple of weeks without fail she wakes up at 11.34pm.

I don't go in to her right away unless she is crying but often she is just making noise and "shouting" for us. I leave her to see if she settles back, which she used to do if she woke up, but now after about 20 minutes she starts crying and then I go in.

Quick cuddle and she is out again usually within 5 minutes, she doesn't want to play.

After this wake up she is generally back out until around 7am.

I think the hardest part about this is, that I feel I can't go to sleep as usually just as I have drifted off she wakes up.

Is this normal? Is there something I can do to break the cycle?

Thanks
