Side sleeper help for first time mum

Hey all

I am due my first baby in a few months and assumed I would get a side sleeper for the first six months. BUT I didn't realise beds had to be a certain height etc. We have a really tall super king fabric bed (not a divan but the sides do go to the floor).

Are there any side sleepers on the market that could work? Or will we have to have a moses basket? If so can I get some recommendations of what would be our second best option after a side sleeper.

Thank you in advance :)

I have a tutti bambini from mother care and it is great. It has 5 different heights available which means you can adjust to your bed or when it is free standing you can tilt one end which helps babies if they have reflux or colds etc. It is really light weight and so easy to set up and down So it doubles up as a travel cot too. I love mine! Hope that helps x

We had the same problem but only realised once the side sleeper arrived so we’ve had to use it as a normal cot with the side of it up. Very annoying.

I had a Troll bedside crib with a v tall divan bed - worked fine.
