6 month old won't go in cot

After bed time routine he goes down fine, wakes 30/40 mins later, from then on he has a radar if i go anywhere near=lean over or get him down he wakes and cries till I pick him up. Found the only place he will go is in pram which u have been resorting to do get a few hours sleep.

Any advice not keen on cosleeping have done it in desperation for an hour or so but I don't really sleep and end up aching .

My little boy was like this, are you putting him down awake initially or asleep? As soon as we started putting him down awake the waking and crying then asleep 40 minutes later stopped
