Advice on sleep training please

We sleep trained DS at 11 months. The mistake we were making was not letting him fall asleep by himself. Did CC, worked really well, he slept through from the first night.

We now have 9 month old twins. We didn't make the same mistake - these 2 are put in their cots awake and fall asleep beautifully by themselves. Great daytime routine. 3 milk feeds, 2 naps, good consistency. We're doing traditional weaning so I know they're eating plenty. Twin 1 still BF morning and afternoon. She's not fussed and I could stop I suppose. They can both sleep through - twin 2 was amazing for months but for the last 2 months she's been waking 2-3 times a night draining bottles. Twin 1 also wakes 1-2 times a night and I feed back to sleep.

So my questions are - do we need to resettle without feeding? How can I be sure they're not hungry if they're actually draining bottles/taking a long BF? They're also teething, perhaps they need the comfort of bottle/breast?

Any advice welcome.

I would resettle without feed by default then if they don't settle or wake within 20 mins of falling asleep, I would assume they need a feed and feed
