My son has always been a waker upper until around 2 years ago when I had a full year of him sleeping through, I was finally thankful that at being 6 he finally gave me a full nights sleep.
Unfortunately it was short lived and after August he started getting up every hour nearly!
Every night he seems to have a sore tummy as now he is waking up around 1am and he can’t go back into a deep sleep. He gets up constantly.
To make matters worse After going back to school one of his school friends keeps telling him scary stories about these weird horror things the boy is allowed to watch on you tube. It’s caused sever panic and anxiety attacks during the night, also resulting in his brother waking up and being scared at what’s going on.
I’ve mentioned it to the teacher now and I’ve decides tomorrow I have to txt the mother and tell her, awkward as we are good family friends.
I don’t know how to get him back in his room?? My husband seems
To have little understanding of it all and is short fused. It’s a real problem now.
Can the doctor help with this or a sleep consultant?? I’m at wits end and exhausted.

Oh bless his heart, he's scared by the horror stories. Some are, I was one of them and so was my son. Just love him, reassure him and never, ever tell him he's silly because feelings are not rational. Let him have lights on, books etc and don't worry, it will pass eventually. x
