How to transition my LG for being swaddled?

Please help! My 5 month old LG has been swaddled since birth for sleep, naps and night time. She has slept so well like this but as she's getting older she's becoming too strong to be swaddled which results in me having to reswaddle her 5+ times a night but will not sleep unswaddled. I've tried a looser swaddle but she manages to get her hands out and flaps her arms everywhere and pulls her dummy out. If I put her down sleeping she will wake up within 10 minutes and she won't get back to sleep until being swaddled. I've tried one arm In one out and a sleeping bag too.
Asked the hv for advice but she had none
Thank you

I had exactly the same issue with my DD. She was swaddled until 4 and a half months then bacame too strong. We tried one arm out but it didn’t work. We just decided one night enough was enough and put her in a sleeping bag and she’s been in it since. About a week of disturbed sleep but I wasn’t sleeping anyway so thought it was worth it. If you can’t face unswaddling yet them youtube escape proof swaddle, it works but you will just be delaying the inevitable! Good luck

We just went cold turkey and went from swaddle to sleeping bag, I won’t lie, it was tough, she went from sleeping through all night every night to waking up every 2 hours but it did coincide with the 4 month sleep regression so it could have been that.

I used the Love 2 Dream sleep sack swaddle thing. Kept his arms in and then I unzipped one arm at a time before he was fully arms out about a week later. Worked for us!
