4 year old afraid to sleep

Help! My 4 YO DD (previously a very good sleeper) has become traumatized by a panto we went to see over Xmas and is now afraid of the dark or to sleep by herself. Yesterday was the worst. She was up at 2am and refused to go back to sleep unless I slept with her. I definitely don't want to create a new habit of this so have tried talking to her, getting her a new light, leaving the door open, hall light on, lying with her for a while, walking her back silently every time - nothing works. She wakes my DS up every night with screaming and shouting and crying. She won't go to bed (always been good at going down). We're all so so tired. Any advice on how we can help her through this? I wish I'd never taken her to the panto. The strange thing is she lived it while we were there. Pleas help us get some sleep
