Day time naps

Hi 👋🏼
So at night my 8 week old LG sleeps in her sleepyhead deluxe pillow in her next to me crib no problems there. However during the day when I put her down in her Moses basket in the living room she won't sleep. It doesn't matter whether she's half asleep or fully asleep, she instantly wakes up, sometimes she will just lay there for a while and cry after a time. Other times she cries straight away. I need advise and tips on how to get her to nap during the day so I can get some jobs done round the house and have some time where she isn't on me as that is the only place she will sleep during the day.
TIA
🥰

During the day can she go in the sleepyhead on the sofa? That's what I did with my little boy, moved it downstairs at the start of the day x

I think I'll try that tomorrow @octoberbundle I'm just worried that if I do that will it put her off sleeping in it at night??

It never did with mine and I'll be repeating it with the second, but see. I tried to make things different during the day, so light/me making noise moving about etc, whereas nighttime was dark and quiet....just helped him differentiate x

We never really solved this problem, sorry! Eventually the baby became a bit more reliable at napping in the stroller, so we just circled it til he fell asleep, but months later we still couldn't put him down during the day without him waking up!

My daughter is 8 weeks She hated the Moses basket but will most of the time settle herself on the sofa wrapped in a blanket. Don't get me wrong sometimes she wants to be cuddled to sleep but I don't mind the house can wait. As long as she's happy that's my job done
