4 month old suddenly not sleeping/unsettled

Not posted here before but need some advice? My baby is coming up to 4 months (he is 4 months in weeks) and has always slept really well since he was born, usually only waking once between about 11pm & 7am and sometimes sleeping through. But the last week or so he's been waking up near enough every hour & whinging & then taking ages to settle & only sleeping when I feed/hold him 😟 ... haven't slept for about 4 nights now... do you think he's hungry? He's fornula fed (comfort milk with copied drops for colic) having 6oz (sometimes 7) about 6 times a day now with the extra night feed...should I think about baby rice to see if it fills him up? I'm also thinking he has outgrown his crib and he's hitting his arms on the sides which might wake him? Plus he wakes whenever I move about, So I'm disturbing him. Only thing is that his big cot doesn't fit in my room so would have to put him on his own!? I'm stuck...advice appreciated!

Apparently around 4 months some babies get worse at sleeping. I'm a couple months away from it so no really advise, sorry, maybe someone else will be more helpful.

Mine did the same as is now slowly starting to go back to being good so hang in there, could be a few weeks. She hits his hands on crib too but we are waiting until 6 months to move to big cot as it's not uncomfortable for her , she's just found her arms. Good luck x

4 month sleep regression. Right there with you. I wouldn't give him baby rice though.
