I am so tired! Long story short, when my baby had colic the only think that would settle him was rocking and this soon turned into a full time habit to get him to nap and sleep. He will literally scream if we don't do this and tap him. He naps every 2 hours during the day like a newborn and I'm wondering if this is normal? We bath him and put him down to sleep at 7pm but he is still waking every 2 hours to feed and is difficult to settle back into his cot, I have now resulted to co sleeping with him which also means I'm basically getting no sleep out of worry! Has anyone got any tips? I'm so exhausted and it has an affect on the following day, I feel like a bad mum because sometimes I'm just so tired when playing with him and I don't feel like myself. I wanted to go on a walk this morning but he started crying for his nap and I just thought it's not worth the effort .. I'm giving up .. TIA X

What is it about co-sleeping that is making you worry?
Will he sleep in his pram/buggy during the day?

Get a bedside cot to feel safer co-sleeping, for our youngest we had the ikea one that can be built 3-sided and eventually put the side on and moved it away from our bed before moving it into his room when he was older. 5 months is still really little though, it won’t be like this for ever.
