11 month old won't sleep

I'm really hoping someone can help me! Our 11 month old son has gotten into this habit where he goes to bed and then wakes after 1.5-2 hours. He's then awake for 3 hours and then goes back to sleep.

It is also taking 1.5-2 hours to get him to nap! His old pattern was

6:30/7 wake up
7:30/8 breakfast
10:30/11 nap
13:30/2 lunch
3:30/4 nap
5:30/6 dinner
6:45/7:15 bed

His new 'routine' is

6:30/7 wake up
7:30/8 breakfast
11:30 nap (try since 10am)
2 lunch
4 nap (sometimes)
7 bed
8/8:30 wake up
11pm sleep

Can not figure out what is going on. He used to be such a good sleeper.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

This is exactly like my 12m old. He is occasionally dropping to 1 nap. He is sometimes tired earlier so I put him down earlier for bed. Don't force the naps. Take his lead. Mine went for 1st nap later 11 until 1.30 then was ok until 6.30pm. Some days he has 2.

In the evenings i didnt controlled crying where i went in every extra minute to settle him unless i knew he was upset about teething or illness.

I think they hit a sleep regression about 12 months so this may be it. When mine woke up he just wanted to play. That's when i had to go back to cc in the night 😐

It does sound like your baby is getting ready to drop to 1 nap though.

Sounds under-tired to me. Might need to drop a nap.
