Walking hourly - are they hungry?

My DD has been weaned using a combo of spoon feeding and BLW. This has worked a treat, she loves her food and has three meals a day (e.g. breakfast today was scrambled egg and beans, lunch half a jar of Heinz sweet & sour chicken & various bits of fruit, dinner will be cheesy pasta & broccoli with rice pudding for dessert).

The problem I have is that she hardly takes her milk during the day anymore (today so far she's had 11 ounces over three bottles, and that's a good day), but wakes up regularly during the night for milk and will take anywhere between half an ounce to four ounces when she wakes up.

Last night she woke up on the hour for resettling & I can't work out if she's hungry or just needs to know someone is there? I'm a soft touch & more often than not have been pulling her into bed with me in the wee hours, but she doesn't want this so much anymore and nor do I, so I've been keeping her in the cot.

Is she waking because she's hungry? Or just because she wants reassurance? I know it's hard to tell over the internet but any advice would be gratefully received!
