Which tog sleeping bag?

I have four month old twins. Our bedroom is usually around 19 degrees when I put them to bed at night and is currently dropping to about 17/16 later on (although it has gone down to 15 a few times)

I’m worried about the tog rating on their sleeping bags and was wondering what other people use? DT1 is in a 2.5 Grobag at present with a short sleeve vest and cotton sleepsuit. DT2 tends to feel the cold a bit more so he’s currently in a 3.5 tog slumbersac with same clothing as DT1.

Slumbersac website states that 3.5 tog is OK for rooms between 18 and below the 15, but Gro Company states 15 to 12 degreesConfused

Both babies are good sleepers and seem very settled. Only ever wake to feed and then straight back to sleep after. I just can’t keep worrying that they’ll be too cold or hot!

Should be fine then. Personally, I wouldn't put my own daughter in a 3.5 above 15 degrees, but different babies need different things.

I’m just confused as to why slumbersac and Gro Company have different temp guidelines for the same tog.

DT1 had cold feet this morning I noticed. She slept all night though so I’ll assume she’s happy enough.

Yeah, she'll be fine. DD's hands are always very cold in the morning, but if they can sleep like that they're fine.

The saying I was told is, 'cold babies cry, hot babies die'. As long as she isn't whinging about it, you're alright.

Are your twins sleeping together?

Ive just had a singleton and she is in a long sleeved vest and 2.5 tog grobag

Yes I read better a bit cold than too hot as well.

@Theweasleytwins No they sleep in seperate Moses baskets. They’ve been in them since they came out of NICU
