DS always wakes an hour once gone to bed

So my DS has always woken anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour after I've put him to bed. Once every so often he won't, but pretty much every night he does.
He's not the best sleeper, never has been. Some nights he 'sleeps through' and other nights I'm going into him multiple times throughout the night.
I know babies have sleep cycles, but when is it typically 'normal' for a baby to outgrow this? Oh and he's 6 and a half months old SmileHalo

This sounds completely normal to me! My son started sleeping through at 18 months.

You just have to roll with it. It's completely commonplace and there's little you can do. A nap cycle is 40 mins and at first that's all mixed up with sleep cycles. They're a mess, basically. Grin

It's frustrating though as you're just settling down to watch TV!
