Hi all,

looking for advice. My 8 wo has reflux, its quite bad she doesn't keep anything down. I am breast feeding, and I express as well (she spent the first few days in hospital not feeding and very jaundice and I got into the habit of expressing there) so we tried gaviscon but it made her poos solid and she just seemed in pain all the time and unsettled. Then we tried ranitidine and it didnt stop the sickness at all. Now we are back on gaviscon but with a laxative as well. She is 0.4th centile for growth too.
But she just seems so uncomfortable all the time. I can never put her down, in the day she won't nap unless she is on me or in her car seat which is fine but I have 2 other toddlers who need some attention too. In the night she pretty much feeds and throws up and becomes really upset. All I want is for her to be happy and not in pain and maybe start gaining weight a bit more. Any advice greatly appreciated. Also id gaviscon and ranitidine aren't working could there be something else anyone has experienced? I do have a review with GP on wed. Thanks! 1 incredibly exhausted mother!

Omeprazole is supposed to be amazing.my son didn't get on with it but I've heard it works wonders for many! It's a faff to administer but o my once a day. My 11 week old is on ranitadine.
