What time for 2.5 year old

Our daughter goes at 7. Still has a nap of between 1-2 hours at lunch time.

She goes down in cot and faffs about for around 1-2 hours until finally going to sleep. She is happy and just lying there or wriggling about.

But it's got me wondering what time she should go to bed?

My just 2 year old goes to bed around 7:30pm
and also takes an hour to fall asleep. He usually just lies chatting to himself. Christmas has ruined his routine though and he has now been shouting me for 90 minutes!

Watching with interest. DD is 23 months and cries/faffs for 1-2 hours at bedtime. Still naps 12-2 and moving it earlier / making it shorter doesn't help.

2.5 year olds do that though. It's a sleep regression. It's really crap. Stick with it, it'll change eventually. I feel your pain, mine is exactly the same at the moment.

Oh no I thought we were over all the sleep regression stages!!!!! I don't mind, as she is happy in her cot - just wondered if I was putting her to bed too early. She also sings to herself and 'reads' her books - she takes about 6 to bed to cuddle Hmm
