Waking from cold?

DS is 15 weeks and has been sleeping badly for the past 3 weeks. Good nights are 1 feed plus maybe 3 stirrings. Bad nights are hourly wake ups or even more frequent than that. It has occurred to DH and I that he might be cold. Our room was 15 degrees this morning- it could have easily been 14 overnight. Last night he was in vest, babygro, a little woollen layer and a 2.5 tog sleeping bag. But he was waking hourly and he didn't feel warm. At 3am I put a blanket on him and he slept straight til 6. Today we have bought 3.5 tog sleeping bags. But what should I put them on with? Also worried he likes his swaddle up so dont know what will happen with a sleeping bag!
It seems like a LOT of layers but it just seems so coincidental that he slept so much better after I added the blanket...

My DS likes his room hotter then the sun to sleep. When we had the heatwave he slept the best. He currently has a vest, fleecy pyjamas and a growbag and the heating is set to 20c. His grow egg says his room is 25c (I'm not sure how actuate that is though). He is 17months though so much older and will let us know if he's to hot

That seems really cold? Could you put the heating on so it's at least 18-19'C?

If he doesn't seem hot then i'd say its fine. Better to have layers that can be removed if needed than room that's too warm. My son hated the heatwave neep - that was hell for us!

Unfortunately it is an old house so cold comes with the territory. We couldn't afford the heating on all the time and I dont think it's very good for you anyway. But you have reassured me that I'm not endangering him so thank you!
