7mo constantly comfort nurses at night.

My 7mo is constantly on me I feel like all night. Recently it seems to have gotten worse and I’m just getting no sleep. I’m not a fan of co sleeping only because I feel so stiff and achy the next day so I try my best to put him back in his cot (sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t) Even if I did want to co sleep he keeps pulling on and off disturbing my sleep anyway. But most of the time he just wants to nurse and when I pull him off he either cries or once put down he will wake within 10 mins.

This nursing at night used to work and he used to just go back to sleep and I would put him back in his cot and he would sleep happily until his next feed. So I’m not sure what’s changed, so I’m not sure what I need to change/fix.

Another thing he does is wake up in the middle of the night and just stays awake for a couple of hours. No matter what I do he won’t sleep.

Basically I’m slowly losing my mind here. He has always been a horrible sleeper not the best napper and up numerous times at night. The sleep deprivation is getting to me, I can actually see it in my daily tasks- I have become so forgetful. Someone please help! Or at least tell me this is normal and to ride it out like I have with his many other phases.
