Arms at night

Looking for any advice/ suggestions. My dh is 7 weeks and isn't the best sleeper. The problem is her arms. She spends the night thrashing around trying to get them free from the swaddle (which she usually manages) then rubbing/ scratching at her face. I've tried using a sleeping bag so her arms aren't restricted but she still thrashes around rubbing her face.

I've tried swaddles, swaddling with one arm out, swaddle pouches, sleeping bags and am rubbing out of ideas.

She's not always awake when she's doing this but the amount she trashes around worries me and I end up awake just listening until I give up and re-swaddle, etc and it all starts again. She's ended up nearly horizontal in her bassinet, up against the side and I'm sure it can't be good for her head.

Has anyone had similar? Or tried any other sleeping aids?

Thanks

Have you tried a Love to Dream Swaddle Up? It's a swaddle that allows their arms up by their face which I assume is what your DD is trying to do when attempting to free herself from traditional swaddles.

Is she hurting herself? Is she crying? If not, I'd leave her to it to be honest.
