Hi mommies

I am a mother of a 23 months old girl child.. since she born I ve slept only one full night that's on her 5 th month... Till today she wakes more often... I m completely fine if she wakes up 4 times at night but she wakes 4 times every 1 hour and cry.

I tired almost everything ... Warm bath before bed... Good nap time ...skipped nap making her cranky... Early nap time... Early bedtime...consistent bedtime routine... Feeding her full, half tummy and filling with milk... With humidifier... With fan without fan... Nothing works... she doesn't ve pblm falling sleep but the pblm s getting up after 2 hours and wakes 5 times every hour till 5 morning....

I am much worried abt her becoz what happens if she ve disturbed sleep almost every day... I m really frustrated this makes my life more miserable... Though people says to sleep along with her... She sleeps hardly at night... And in morning she ll get two good naps.. this creates lot of family issue...

I can't help from anyone... Becoz she screams a lot at night in others hand even if it is her dad...

Don't take it as comparsion... Even a new born baby sleeps well... I waited with hope that she ll sleep one day or other but I m failing... Every mom just lives an happy life and enjoying the activity of their baby but I couldn't enjoy what she s doing becoz I m already off without sleep..

I would sometime think of suicide to get peaceful sleep... I knew I m so depressed... Can anyone give me councelling

Hello,

It sounds like you've had a really tough time :-( you must be exhausted :-(

I think that given how difficult it must have been getting to this phase it will be worth getting some professional help for yourself, like you said some proper support :-)

I'd start by going to your GP and they can help you :-)

Well done for surviving this long, you're obviously a very dedicated mummy :-)

This sounds very difficult, OP. I hope you get some support soon. The sleeplessness is so hard to bear, but this too shall pass eventually!! But that is little help now. Sorry you are going through this, I hope the GP is helpful. Hugs xx
