Flipping over and getting stuck in the night?

Hi
My dd (11months) has just started to pull on her cot bars and flip herself onto her stomach and get stuck horizontally across the cot iykwim! She cant even put her head back down! Everytime she wakes in the night (last night it was a good 6times!) she does this and then I find it really difficult to get her back off! She used to be a relatively good sleeper, but at the mo seems to be getting worse each night
Can anyone help?
Thanks x

It won't be long before she can move that bit more and get herself where she should be. Is she in a Grobag? They can sometimes hamper movement so if she's not, put her in one to take her back a bit and if she is, try her without it to see if she can move better and not get stuck!

My dd is similar, only she sits up, then puts her head on her knees and tries to go to sleep like that.

It is a complete pain becaue as soon as you push her back down she pops straight up lie a jack in the box. Can go on a long long time

She even tried to put her head on her knees in the bath...

awww fizzbuzz bless her! total pain but so cute!
She is in a grobag, if she wakes in the night may take her out and see how she gets on!, thanks scootergirl

Just been reading another thread about them standing up in their cots! guess i'll have that one next!

Will she get the message do you think if i keep laying her back down again everytime she moves or will i be there all night??

None of these stages last long if that's any consolation. They learn new things every day.
But DS did drive me nuts by standing up in his cot and not being able to get down again!

Llynnn, I haye to say this, but I suspect you will be there all night...sorry...I sit there with my hand on her to stop her popping back up.

Total pain I know

have of course....

Scootergrrrl · 24/06/2007 20:43

Could you tip her onto her side so she's in the same position but flat...?

fizzbuzz · 24/06/2007 20:44

Or even hate... I give up, lack of sleep is destroying my brain....
