Congested newborn

Is anyone up to give me tips on how to get my congested 6 week old to sleep.
She’s formula fed but I normally get her to sleep by placing a dummy on my breast and she suck it until she gets drowsy. However, she’s not really breathing out her mouth and she is so bunged up I’m worried about putting something in her mouth.
Sorry this sound silly- first time mum

Because she is formula feed I dont know if you are producing any milk of your own? If you can express even a couple of drops try and get them up your baby's nose (tip her head back or use a syringe or dropper etc).

My DD had the same thing but I kid you not, in 3 minutes after doing that she was completely clear and slept like an angel!!

Best wishes and Congrats!! I know its tough in early days with a new born but it will be all worth it SmileFlowers

Can you put her in the bathroom
With you to get the steam to get the goop off her chest / nose? We also use snufflebabe vapour rub but not sure how old they have to be before they can use it. Good luck OP
