Would like to sleep train but baby has reflux...

My DD is 7 months and is a terrible sleeper, she woke every hour until about a month ago, now she's waking every 2 hours. My life, and that of my toddler are seriously impacted, not to mention my poor exhausted DD.

We did CIO with the older one at about 8 months and it worked very well. 2 horrible nights and since then he has been a brilliant sleeper and trots off to bed merrily to settle himself down to sleep. I'd like to try something similar with DD but because she has reflux she very often cries when she is laid down and in order to get her down at all she has to be completely sound asleep. This kind of goes hand in hand with the fact that I have to keep her upright for 20 minutes after feeding, and during that 20 minutes she falls asleep on me. I have attempted a few gentle methods - PUPD etc but the issue is lying her down in any way awake leads to her screaming.

Sorry for the long winded post but my question is basically whether I can sleep train a baby with reflux and is so.... How?
