Hello everyone, really looking for some advice, my little girl is generally unsettled, but is the worst at night time, she hates sleeping, tried the bedtime baths and lotions, stories, white noise, shushing, even been to the GP, she just never seems to settle, really need some advice or other things to try because i am so drained from it all!

Hello, I am in the same boat with my 9 month DS, it's very difficult isn't ir. I think we have been hit with a regression. I'm here in solidarity!

A lot harder then I thought! Just nothing seems to be working, sleep deprived Mumma’s!

No advice but sympathies! I’m hoping it’s just the regression and it won’t be for long. My boy is 9 months next week and is up about 5 times a night (sometimes awake for a chunk of for 2-3 hours.) have also tried the bedtime bath lotions, stories, lavender, lullabies, white noise, blackout blinds, comforter, teething granules/gel,something that smells of me,had same bedtime routine since he was 3 months. He can just never relax, try and sit with him for a cuddle and he’s climbing off me,try and read a story and he’s just desperately grabbing at the book! Now it’s taking at least an hour to get him to sleep every night and for naps (if he decides he’s having naps that day!) there is a really big regression at this age so I guess it’s that? Sorry that was a really long post. Fingers crossed for us all!

Has she always been like this? Is she breastfed or formula fed? My DD was like this and turned out she had cows milk allergy x

@Moreteaplease84 your Ds sounds exactly the same as mine.. so wriggly and never sits still! It's exhausting.. I think this is probably one fo the most exhausting periods we have had.

Hi @Wingingthis . Sorry to highjack the thread but I'd be interested in finding out more about this.. my ds is formula fed since 6 months, but obviously eating solids now. How did you find out your little ones allergy?

Moreteaplease84 · 28/11/2018 20:52

I know you didn’t ask me but my son has also been diagnosed with dairy allergy/intolerance (not sure what it’s classed as) he was bf and ff so I went dairy free and he was put on prescription formula from 8 weeks okd. His symptoms were colic, reflux, rash on his face and chest, only drinking 1 or 2 oz of formula every 1-2 hours, pulling off the breast crying and just generally seeming very unsettled day and night. Found this link, hope it works!
