My DS has been in childcare for 3 days per week for 1 month. So far hes had colds for 3 weeks of that so cant sleep....the rest of the time he clings to me like a limpet because he thinks I am leaving him 😢 and now hes in week 1 of leap 9. He is waking every 30min to 2 hours max. Weve tried co sleeping but he kicks and punches all night. Last night i spent nearly an hour every time trying to get him to lay down in his bed...

Hes still snotty although OK in himself. Do I persist co sleeping/trying to get him back in his cot....I feel like I can't win either way but I am averaging 3 hours sleep a night so work is killing me 😱 he also wakes at 4am wanting his morning bf but then we have to wake him at 5.30am for work so we are basically up from 4am everyday

Suggestions please?

We have babies very similar in age...I have come across your posts before searching for the same issues! My ds has had a personality transplant since his birthday and my return to work...I think it's a very difficult time for him. My happy smiley boy has become velcro baby and sleep has gone out the window. I'm knackered. We had to resort to controlled crying last week as I was at the end of my tether and it has helped overnight. He was disturbing my older daughter and she needs her sleep for school. Naps are still hit and miss. Getting out to toddler groups definately makes my day easier...he is the worst at home! I know exactly what you are going through...my house is a state as I can't get anything done with him hanging off me. Saving grace is I get some peace at work twice a week!!
