Just wondering if this could be the reason why my 19 month old DD is still waking during the night?
Up until fairly recently she was having a morning and afternoon nap, short in duration. Due to some changes at nursery, we decided on just one slightly longer post lunch nap.
The last few days she has been in the care of family members while we are at work, and I find out she has had 30 mins since 6am this morning and 6am ish yesterday morning!
I don't believe for one moment this is sufficient for an active toddler at all, so aside from questioning why DD hasn't been put down for nap, could the reason for her behaviour (tantrums) and broken sleep during the night, be because she is over tired due to not sleeping well enough during the day?
I'm at my wits end with the sleeping as i'm pregnant again and DD still ends up in our bed from about 4am onwards, but that can't go on for much longer and I would love her to start sleeping through the night gain.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
