Would you put him in a bed?

Dc2 is 21 months and can climb out of the cot. Generally doesn't except when he wakes from his nap. He has done just now though after 2 hrs sleep. Would you change to a bed? Funny thing us, dc1 is 3.5yrs and still in a cot (cot bed, but sides on) and has stated quite clearly that they don't want to sleep in the big bed.

I would, yes. In fact, in a similar situation, I did.

DS has been in a bed since 14 months but actually for a lot longer than that. He’s only ever fallen out once!

I might add the cot is between my bed and the wall, so he climbs out onto my bed. If he had a bed it would also be there so no falling out.

It will be odd having the older child in a cot and the you get in a bed, though it might encourage dc1 to want a bed.
