My 10 month old goes to sleep in the sling. Fights sometimes but it's a pretty reliable method and she transfers to cot easily most of the time. I'm happy with this method. Last baby and I adore the feeling of her warm head resting on my chest as she drifts off.
So I'm not wanting to change anything. Rather I'm just curious about what happens next. If you sling'd to sleep exclusively how did the transition happen to going to sleep in the cot? Did you force it or was it organic?
