go down for a nap the same way that she goes to bed or would I confuse her?

she goes to bed with me sitting next to her bed, takes her about 10 mins ish

she has a horrid cold and needs a nap today, usually she just falls asleep sometimes in the daym in the car etc.

Shall I try putting her down for a nap in the same way that I out her to bed or is she likely to get confused?

try it if she is showing signs of tiredness, maybe read a story to her in a low voice while she settles down and nods off?
