Just wondering what time the early morning wakings stopped for you all? I know they are all different....Clutching at straws....

Never. My DD woke at about 4-30am every single day. We put block-out curtains in her room, gave her a Gro-Clock to show her that it wasn't time to get up yet. Nothing helped. She is 9 now and still does it. These days we've given in - she has an iPad and she watches movies and TV shows until it's a "normal" hour. She is fine at school, and goes to bed at the same time as her late-sleeping brother . You can't fight nature !

Nooooo. You aren’t meant to say that! You were meant to say they start sleeping through very soon and it will happen! Grin. Thank goodness for the iPad then birdie!

On the days my 3 yo is t in nursery, he wakes anywhere between 9:30 and 10:30 however to get this result I had to bump back his bedtime by an hour - makes no difference to him, he doesn't get overtired in that time and will fight for at least half an hour about going to bed whatever time I try to make it happen! From an early age I tried to encourage lie ins (by using a later bedtime) and would usually bring him into bed with me if he woke before a time I deemed acceptable! Generally now, if he wakes at 9:30 I'll turn the tv on in my room so I can get a few more minutes whilst knowing he is there with me and not roaming the house.
