15 month old vomiting at night if not upright

My LO has had a cold for about a week, in the last few days she’s developed a cough (we both had the cold but no cough).

Last night she woke up and was sick, she didn’t cough loads, and make herself vomit, just a little.

I cleaned her up, settled her, and put her down, and she was sick again almost immediately once she was laying flat.

I brought her to bed with me and held her so she was upright and she was still sick a few times when she wiggles to flat but otherwise ok.

This morning she’s had some plain toast and was sick again!

Any ideas??

I thought it could be mucus from the cold, or, she’s allergic to dairy and accidentally drank some actimel at a friends house (a few sips out of an identical baby cup), but this was on Saturday so it seems too long ago to have made this effect?

It’s only been one night but I already feel deathly from sitting upright all night long!

Post nasal drip ?

Or maybe she just has a tummy bug ?

I mean she’s never had a tummy bug but it seemed unusual... only happening when flat!

Would post nasal drip make her throw up? Anything I can do to help or just ride it out? X

Well she was trying to sleep in the night so more likely to be flat than not. And if she was sick after the toast I'm guessing she was upright. Sounds like a tummy bug to me.

Fair point. We did wonder if the toast just overloaded her little tummy after emptying it so much!

Obviously I’m keeping an eye on her and I’m
Sure it’s nothing to worry about, just so sad to see her like this for the first time!
