Shorter day naps: sign of 4 month regression?

My little lady is 15 weeks old. She had been napping around 90 minutes or longer, but the last couple of weeks it's all gone to pot...

She frequently wakes up after 30-40 minutes of nap time. Sometimes she's hungry, has a bottle and goes back to sleep; sometimes she goes bananas for a few minutes then falls back to sleep and sometimes she's chipper and happy and will have another short nap in a couple of hours... Fairly unpredictable, argh 😣.

Is this the start of the dreaded 4 month sleep regression?

Her nighttime sleep isn't too bad - asleep from 20:30ish, one feed around 4-5am and back to sleep. After waking for a feed, she sometimes wakes up a few times after 40 mins but then goes back to sleep 🤔.

I presumed if it is the 4 month regression, then nighttime sleep would go to pot too?

Thanks X

My DS is just a little bit older than your DD. He's always been a rubbish napper on his own, only sleeping for 30 mins. If on me he'll sleep a lot longer! His nights sounded almost identical to yours until a couple of weeks ago, he goes to bed at 7 but has been waking for a dummy around midnight and falls back to sleep. Wants to feed at 1.30/2 and then back to sleep until 4.30 where he cries! I assumed it was the sleep regression, hopefully it doesn't last long!

My 16 week old sounds almost identical during the day, has been for a couple of weeks now.
I think she's going through the sleep regression, and again similarly to you she goes down at 6pm, awake around midnight for a feed, then up at 4. She was sleeping through from 6pm-6am so her regression seems to be just that she now gets up for a feed and up earlier in the morning.
I'm just riding it out tbh, if she naps better on me then I let her do that, or take her out in her pram to get her to have a nap.
I'm counting my blessings as some people have a hideous time of it!

That's what happened to mine, 30 min naps till just recently occasionally now longer (40-60 mins, an hour if I'm sling) st 6 mo.

Night sleep was bad but he did have an appalling cold around then too which messed up latch.
