When to put my 8 week old to bed

Morning ladies I'm wondering if you can give me some advise.

Trying to work out some form of 'routine' for my 8 week old.
I've tried to bath and bed her by 7-7.30 she will have a good 3 hours sleep then be restless for a number or hours meaning mummy gets no sleep.
I've also tried bath and bed by 10 which means she usually sleeps nicely until the early hours but from 5pm-8pm she is unsettled and having multiple feeds.

I know she won necessarily be in a strict routine right now or possibly ever 😂 but any advise on a recommended bed time would be great!

Thank you x

You have to go with the baby. Mine had the most horrendous evening cluster feeds for 4 months and it's only recently I managed a 7 pm bath and wind down routine.

Hi
I also have an 8 week old.
I think you are expecting too much too soon I'm afraid. Babies dont have the abiility to respond to a routine yet. 5 til 8 is classic unsettled time and she is feeding to get her order in!
If u get her to bed at 7 what do u then do? Do u just go to bed?
We have DS with us, bedtime is about 90 mins after he finishes his last nap. We give him a bath as it relaxes him then last feed and bed. That can happen anywhere from 9.30 to midnight.
They are still so litttle. Dont take anything that is happening now as an indication of what might happen later.
