Tummy sleeper

My 24 week old boy has recently started rolling onto his tummy while sleeping. He has mild reflux and we co-sleep, coz of which I have always used a pillow to prop him up a little. I keep checking on him every once in a while to make sure he is safe. Should I not use the pillow and get him to tummy sleep on the flat bed? Is this a SID risk? I feel he sleeps better on his tummy.

Can he roll back and forth okay?

He can roll onto his tummy quite well. He doesn't roll back very often though.

I'm watching with interest because my five month old is a side sleeper but I'm pretty sure once she learns how to move her arm out of the way she will be a tummy sleeper. I don't like the idea of it because of all the SIDS warnings but she just cannot sleep on her back because it stretches out her tummy and so she starts squirming in discomfort and cannot sleep.

I wonder if anyone here will come with any advice, or even reassurance.
