Ever changing sleep patterns

My 17 wk old DS had been sleeping through from 7pm to 5 or 6am though occaisionally he would still wake for a feed around 3 or 4. But in the last week or so he's been waking 2-3 hours after going to bed and then again at 3 o4 4 ish. This seems particualrly knackering as he was sleeping well before. I always feed him when he wakes (breastfeeding) but his feeds at that time tend to be shorter (though still around 10-15 mins).

Tonight he's woken up an hour after going down and was screaming for a bit then fell asleep again. I gave him forumla for the first time today -around lunchtime could this be causing him tummy trouble?

oh he's just woken again.

possibly a growth spurt at this age? or teething?

my dd is 19 weeks and has gone from waking 1/2 times a night to every 2-3 hours!

I would try and take it in yoyr stride - he is likely to settle down again soon (thats what i keep telling myself anyway! )

Join the club - DS (16wks) has woken 3 times already since going to sleep an hour ago. Has been waking up to 6 times a night for the last three weeks. (Was previously waking once at 4/5ish for a feed.)

Am hoping it's just a phase... have also started giving a dummy to help resettle but not sure if it's a help or adding to the problem!
