Is there a six month regression?

DS has just turned six months and is sleeping worse than ever.
He's been EBF until we started solids and has always woken at least every two hours through the night, waking for the day at about 5am.

However recently after he wakes at around 2am he refuses to go back down. DH, who sleeps like the dead, eventually wakes and will take him but the lack of sleep is breaking me.

Is there any way I can get him to sleep longer?

DD (now 10 months) had something similar at 6 months, like the 4 month sleep regression again.

It calmed down as she approached 7 months, hopefully it will be a short-lived phase for you.

6 months regression was the the worst our experience.

I think we're having this too! Also just started solids, plus first teeth coming through. Constant wake ups and suddenly only wants to be held back to sleep, but it's taking up to 2 hours sometimes. It's rough. @cottipus your post gives me some hope, so hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel!
