One year old change in sleep

My little boy started sleeping from 7:30-7 reliably from around 11 months old and has been great since.

All of a sudden, the last week he's been waking at 5/5:30.

Surely this isn't to do with the clocks changing? His bedtime is now around 7:45, I feel anything later is too late.

If I go to his room and lie him down he just screams hysterically.

Any ideas? (He's 16m now)

No ideas unfortunately but my dd is 1 and I'm having the same issue at the moment, she's suddenly awake at half 5 instead of 7. Don't really know what to do. I've tried earlier and later bedtime but it makes no difference.

It's so frustrating as he's definitely still tired, he's waking up grumpy and rubbing his eyes!

If you figure out the miracle to get yours to sleep longer, please do let me know!

We had the exact same thing. DS is 17 months now.

Been reliably sleeping through from 11 months- 6.30/7- 6/7. Then all of a sudden he was up at 5 for about 3ish weeks. He was cutting his bottom molars for the first week but it carried on for another 2ish weeks. He’s been back to sleeping his normal rountine for a few weeks now. I didn’t do anything other than leave him in his cot (as long as he wasn’t upset) untill at least 6am.

To be honest though, comparing it to all my friends that have little ones- they have all gone through stages of early waking so it’s fairly common and normal!
