4 month sleeping troubles

Hi,
My little one is 16 weeks tomorrow and for the past week or so we have been having issues with his sleeping. I do rock him to sleep and am starting to prepare to wean him off it! He's a big lad and it's starting to hurt my back!
His naps are only 45 minutes. I know some people are saying it's because he can't self settle, but my query is because once he is down to bed at 7,i see him on the monitor waking up slightly a few times but goes back off. So does he just need shorter naps in the day? Getting him to have 4 is a real challenge and we go from anywhere between 2 hours and 3.5 hours worth of daytime naps. I'm worried he's not getting enough
He has a last bottle at 10 when we go to bed and for a good month he was lasting until he woke up with me at 6 and fed at 7.the last few weeks though he has started waking in the night again. Is this regression related? I do usually feed him and he takes most of his bottle. I know one night waking isn't too bad, but it takes a long time for him to settle and I'm doing it all by myself and feeling the strain!
Ant help would be appreciated. I'm a first time mum and a worrier so anything will help my sanity!!
Thank you

It does look like a sleep regression. My son who used to wake up once or twice a night till 14 weeks suddenly started waking up 5 to 6 times. Finally at 22 weeks, it reduced to 3 times. Keep doing what you are doing. It will get better and like you said, one night waking is not bad. Keep everything boring when he wakes up, just a quick feed and back to bed.
