Feeding

Hi I was wondering if anyone could offer me advice. I'm a first time mum with a 5 week baby girl. She is formula fed but I'm worried i could be overfeeding her. She generally has around 5oz of formula every 3 hrs but sometimes has another 3oz within the 3 hrs if she's hungry. Is this right?. My HV told me it's called responsive feeding but everything I've read so far regarding this says because she's bottle fed I could be overfeeding her this is also resulting in her not settling in the early evening.

That sounds pretty normal for a new baby. Feeding on demand is important and at times they will want more because they are going through growth spurts. It is also really common for babies to be unsettled in the evening.
